Meet the Elementary School Principal
WAVA's Elementary Principal is Chris Miller. He lives in Omak with his wife, Lauren, and two sons, Calder and Rhys. This is his first year at WAVA and 10th year in education. Prior to joining WAVA, he was a high school teacher in the Bellingham school district, intermediate teacher at East Omak elementary, and the assistant principal at Omak middle school. He has his Bachelor’s Degree from Western Washington University in Physical Education and Health, where he also played football. He also earned her Master’s degree from Heritage University in Educational Leadership. We live in a rural community, so we spend a lot of our time outdoors and going on adventures. I am excited to be part of WAVA and look forward to working with families and students!
Kids at Hope Team
At WAVA we are bringing Kids at hHope messaging to your students and providing resources that can be used in and out of the classroom. Each month we utilize our WAVA Word of the month to come up with new tools that can create an encouraging message and provide social and emotional learning for our students.
