WAVA Students and Families
As Graduation for the Class of 2024 is just around the corner, we have some additional updates to share and reminders below.  Please take a moment to review.  We look forward to celebrating your accomplishments!
WAVA Class of 2024 Graduation Ceremony
Location: Washington State Fairgrounds, Agriplex Building, 5th St SW Puyallup, WA, 98371
Ceremony Start Time: 2pm
Students will arrive and be dropped off by 12pm for rehearsal with staff, please bring water and nut-free snacks as needed for during this time
Doors will open at 1:45pm (there will be no waiting area inside the Agriplex Building during rehearsal for family and friends so please plan to drop your student and return by 1:45pm)

• RSVP by May 10th for the in-person graduation, https://forms.office.com/r/tjqt6aSm2A (this is to confirm your student is attending the in-person ceremony or not)

• By May 5th, submit a photo for our promotion of your graduation to the Grad Padlet: https://padlet.com/haileycpak/wava-class-of-2024-bpr91p7wt5cau38v

• By  May 5th, submit your photos, a grad slide and/or a video to the vidday link to be included in the graduation video: https://share.vidday.com/e/g-yxbpfb

• Ensure you have ordered or have a black cap/gown, teal stole and tassel if attending in person for graduation, here or you can find similar products on Amazon or other vendors.

• If you have any questions about orders from Jostens you can email hchamberlain@wava.org, or ebrimage@jostens.com *if your announcements say location TBD, please make a note of the finalized location and time that is listed above.

• If you ordered anything from Jostens and it says it will be delivered to the school, please note that it auto processes as that.  Your order will actually go to your address you entered when ordering since our school is virtual.  

• Save the date for a Senior Day on May 31st for students to gather and connect prior to graduation.  We will have a location in Spokane, Lynnwood and Tacoma open to any Class of 2024 students to attend.  Details to come.

• If you have a unique story to share about your high school experience or after graduation plans or accomplishments to highlight, please submit your story to Project Elevate.  This will be shared out via the news, websites and media publications, https://elevate.press/link
